Sweden General Election 2006 Preliminary Results

Complete, preliminary national- and constituency-level results of Sweden's 2006 general election are now available in Elections to the Swedish Riksdag.
In all, the four center-right parties of the Alliance for Sweden won 2,616,475 votes (48.1%) and 178 seats, while the left-wing parties received 2,513,209 votes (46.2%) and 171 mandates. Minor parties got no Riksdag seats but polled between themselves a total of 308,719 votes (5.7%).
