Welcome to the Election Resources on the Internet website. In this space you will find links to Internet sites around the world which provide complete and detailed national and local election statistics, as well as other election resources. If you know of a site that meets such criteria and you do not see it listed here, please send me a message.

In addition, Election Resources on the Internet has a blog: Electoral Panorama, published in English and Spanish. I have been also a contributor to the Global Economy Matters blog, on matters pertaining to elections around the world.

Belgium held a federal parliamentary election on Sunday, May 25, 2014. The results of general elections from 1995 to 2014, as well as an overview of the Belgian electoral system are available in Federal Elections in Belgium - Elections to the Senate and the Chamber of Representatives.

 

Ukraine held a presidential election on Sunday, May 25, 2014. Presidential and Parliamentary Elections in Ukraine has the results of the 2004 repeat runoff presidential election and the two rounds of the 2010 presidential election; the results of the 2006, 2007 and 2012 elections to the Supreme Council (Parliament); and 2014 presidential election results.

 

Lithuania, which held a presidential election on Sunday, May 11, 2014, returns to the polls for a presidential runoff vote on Sunday, May 25, 2014. Presidential and Parliamentary Elections in Lithuania has 2014 presidential election first round and 2012 legislative election results.

Slovenia will hold an early general election on Sunday, July 13, 2014. Elections to the Slovenian National Assembly has the results of the 2004, 2008 and 2011 legislative elections.

 

South Africa held a general election on Wednesday, May 7, 2014. The South African electoral system is described in General Elections in the Republic of South Africa, with detailed results of the 1994 to 2014 general elections.

 

Hungary held a general election on Sunday, April 6, 2014. Elections to the Hungarian National Assembly has an overview of the new Hungarian electoral system, with results of parliamentary elections held in Hungary from 1990 to 2014.

 

Costa Rica, which held a general election on Sunday, February 2, 2014, returned to the polls for a presidential runoff vote on Sunday, April 6, 2014. General Elections in Costa Rica has a description of the Central American country's electoral system, as well as the results of presidential and legislative elections from 1953 to 2014.

Australia held a federal legislative election on Saturday, September 7, 2013. However, the Senate election results in the state of Western Australia were subsequently declared void, and a fresh Senate election was held in the aforementioned state on Saturday, April 5, 2014. The results of general elections held in Australia from 1993 to 2014, as well as descriptions of the House of Representatives and Senate electoral systems are available in Federal Elections in Australia.

 

Slovakia, which held a presidential election on Saturday, March 15, 2014, returned to the polls for a presidential runoff vote on Saturday, March 29, 2014. El Salvador, which held a presidential election on Sunday, February 2, 2014, returned to the polls for a presidential runoff vote on Sunday, March 9, 2014. Chile held a general election on Sunday, November 17, 2013 and a presidential runoff vote on Sunday, December 15, 2013. The Czech Republic, which held its first direct presidential election on January 11-12, 2013, and a presidential runoff vote on January 25-26, 2013, returned to the polls to hold an early parliamentary election on October 25-26, 2013. Parliamentary Elections in the Czech Republic - Elections to the Chamber of Deputies has the results of legislative elections held in the Czech Republic from 1996 to 2013 and of the 2013 presidential election, as well as an overview of the Czech electoral system.

 

Luxembourg held an early parliamentary election on Sunday, October 20, 2013. Elections to the Luxembourg Chamber of Deputies has an overview of the Grand Duchy's electoral system, with the results of the 1999, 2004, 2009 and 2013 legislative elections.

Germany held its 18th Bundestag election on Sunday, September 22, 2013. Elections to the German Bundestag describes the Mixed Member Proportional (MMP) representation system used in the Federal Republic of Germany, with results of parliamentary elections from 1949 to 2013.

Norway held a parliamentary election on Monday, September 9, 2013. The results of legislative elections held in Norway from 1985 to 2013, as well as a description of the proportional representation system used to choose members of the Norwegian legislature are available in Elections to the Norwegian Storting.

Japan, which held an early House of Representatives election on Sunday, December 16, 2012, returned to the polls for a House of Councillors election on Sunday, July 21, 2013. The United States of America held presidential and congressional elections on Tuesday, November 6, 2012. Federal Elections in the United States of America has the results of presidential elections from 1996 to 2012.

The Commonwealth of Puerto Rico also held a general election and a political status plebiscite on Tuesday, November 6, 2012. Puerto Rico election results from 1920 to 2012, as well as reference materials relative to the Puerto Rican election process, can be found at the Elections in Puerto Rico website, available in Spanish and English.

Galicia and the Basque Country held elections for their devolved legislatures on Sunday, October 21, 2012. Elections to the Galician Parliament and Elections to the Basque Parliament have an overview of the Galician and Basque proportional representation systems, with results of autonomic elections held in Galicia from 1981 to 2012 and in the Basque Country from 1980 to 2012.

The Netherlands held an early parliamentary election on Wednesday, September 12, 2012. The results of legislative elections from 1946 to 2012, as well as an overview of the Dutch electoral system are available in Elections to the Dutch Tweede Kamer (House of Representatives).

Mexico held a general election on Sunday, July 1st, 2012. The results of federal elections from 1997 to 2012, as well as an overview of the Mexican electoral system are available in Federal Elections in Mexico.

Voters in France, which held a presidential election on April 22 and May 6, 2012, returned to the polls on June 10 and 17, 2012 to choose members of the National Assembly. Greece, which held an early parliamentary election on Sunday, May 6, 2012, held another early legislative election on Sunday, June 17, 2012. The Autonomous Community of Andalusia held a parliamentary election on Sunday, March 25, 2012. Elections to the Andalusian Parliament has an overview of the Andalusian proportional representation electoral system, with results of autonomic elections held in Andalusia from 1982 to 2012.

Latvia, which held an early parliamentary election on Saturday, September 17, 2011, returned to the polls on Saturday, February 18, 2012, to hold a constitutional referendum on the adoption of Russian as a second official language. New Zealand held a general election and a referendum on the voting system on Saturday, November 26, 2011. Elections to the New Zealand House of Representatives describes the Mixed Member Proportional (MMP) representation system used in New Zealand legislative elections since 1996, with results of parliamentary elections from 1996 to 2011.

The Faroe Islands held an election for their devolved legislature, the Løgting, on Saturday, October 29, 2011. Elections to the Faroese Løgting has an overview of the Faroese proportional representation system, with the results of parliamentary elections from 1998 to 2011.

Argentina held national elections on Sunday, October 23, 2011. The results of the 2003, 2007 and 2011 presidential elections, as well as an overview of the Argentinian electoral system are available in National Elections in Argentina.

Scotland and Wales held elections for their devolved legislatures on Thursday, May 5, 2011.
