I am pleased to announce the publication of Part I of
Elections to the Swedish Riksdag, featuring a results lookup application covering the 1994, 1998 and 2002 legislative elections, as well as a review of the proportional representation system used to choose members of the unicameral Swedish Parliament.
On a related note, I have also updated
Elections to the Norwegian Storting to describe in detail the allocation of legislative seats in last year's election. Norway uses the modified Sainte-Laguë method of proportional representation to distribute parliamentary seats at the multi-member constituency level (which is also the case in both neighboring Sweden and Denmark) as well as at the national level (again, like Sweden but unlike Denmark).
